SUSTAINABILITY

At Treendale Shopping Centre we want to ensure the shopping centre and the community that we operate in, are resilient and able to thrive. We are aiming towards a net zero carbon emission target by 2030, which includes reducing water usage and increasing the amount of waste diverted from landfill.

Solar Panels

In March 2022 works commenced on the installation of  solar panels on the roof of Treendale Shopping Centre.

These panels will generate renewable energy that will be used on site, reducing harmful carbon emissions in the atmosphere generated by site operations.

Installation works have now been completed and we are looking forward to making the switch to solar power soon.

Net Zero Carbon Emission

We are aiming to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030 through a concentrated sustainability effort at the shopping centre.
